Over a two year period, we created a world-class site, positioning Symantec
as a truly global software supplier. This was one of our core strategic
objectives, along with using the website as a vehicle to build brand
recognition, successfully promote software products and provide service and
support.
Working with internal marketing and technical teams at Symantec, we
undertook a major strategic reorganization and design of the content,
intending to create a "living conversation" with customers. Creating a
website that would service the unique interests and expectations of a
diverse range of customers was central to the challenge. We
delivered templates and guidelines for implementation by engineers at
Symantec. Traffic to the site and software sales immediately and
dramatically increased after the site launch.
